Angels-NIKE

Nike, the Greek goddess of victory (later viewed as equivalent to the
Roman Victoria), was Heracles’ escort to Mt. Olympus. She was usually
represented with wings, holding a crown over the heads of victors.
With no elaborate myth of her own, Nike was more the symbol or personification
of a quality than a character in the Greek pantheon.
